I have a young daughter and she seems to have formed her own imaginary world. She hardly interacts with me and keeps herself confined to her own room. Whenever iItry to communicate she only responds in monosyllables and is unwilling to talk. How do I will get her to talk and share with me? Please help?

Start spending time in her room gathering facts about her when she is doing her stuff. Show interest in what she likes and dislikes. She may resist initially, but do not give up. Participate in her activities by giving her sensible directions. Remember, you will have to behave like someone at her age, to break that ice with her. You will find the difference gradually.
